My name is Aida, and I am raising funds for my parents, Aida Grajeda and Gabriel Favila. On May 12, 2025, our family experienced a devastating tragedy in the city of Juarez, Mexico, when my parents’ house exploded. Both Aida and Gabriel were rushed to the hospital with severe burns and required multiple surgeries. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, my mother Aida’s injuries were too severe, and she passed away. My father Gabriel survived, and he is now recovering from home after his injuries and facing a long road ahead.
Aida and Gabriel were the heart of our family. They were hardworking, loving people who always found ways to make others laugh. Their bond was unbreakable—you never saw them apart. As devoted grandparents, they cherished every moment with their grandchildren and brought joy to everyone around them. Losing Aida has left a huge void in our lives, and Gabriel is now not only grieving but also dealing with the physical and financial challenges of his recovery.
We are seeking support to help cover the urgent funeral expenses for Aida and the ongoing medical bills for Gabriel. Tanto Aida como Gabriel fueron llevados de urgencia al hospital con quemaduras graves y requirieron múltiples cirugías. A pesar de los esfuerzos de los médicos, las heridas de mi madre Aida fueron demasiado graves y falleció. Mi padre Gabriel sobrevivió y ahora se está recuperando en casa después de sus lesiones, enfrentando un largo camino por delante.
Aida y Gabriel eran el corazón de nuestra familia. Eran personas trabajadoras y amorosas que siempre encontraban la manera de hacer reír a los demás. Su vínculo era inquebrantable; nunca los veías separados. Como abuelos dedicados, atesoraban cada momento con sus nietos y traían alegría a todos a su alrededor. Perder a Aida ha dejado un gran vacío en nuestras vidas y Gabriel ahora no solo está de luto, sino que también enfrenta los desafíos físicos y financieros de su recuperación.
