Help for Liberian Twins
Donation protected

Anna and Annabel Logbo were born on May 6 in Guangzhou, China, where their mother, Juliana "Pepper" Logbo, lives as an illegal immigrant. Ms. Logbo, is a Liberian citizen who traveled to China in hopes of a better future. Yet joblessness, racial discrimination and poverty have overshadowed that hope.
Ms. Logbo couldn't afford a plane ticket to return to Liberia when her visa ran out a year ago. Now she is facing a daily fine of nearly $100 for her visa violations. Her illegal status prevents her from holding a job. And as a single mother, she must now care for two infants on her own.
A small community in Beijing was able to help Ms. Logbo pay for her hospital fees, raising just over $4,000 to cover them. Now we're extending the reach to help Ms. Logbo in her quest to return to care for her babies and return to Liberia. She is currently working with the Liberian Embassy, seeking pardoning and a means to return home.
Her needs now include groceries, diapers and rent. Every contribution, no matter how small, is meaningful.
