Aid Winter's Family and His Future Needs

Winter River Wolverton-Wilde was born eight weeks early on March 13, 2024 to Hanna Wilde & Clara Wolverton. After the initial flurry of days that follow a premature birth passed, it became clear that Winter had additional needs beyond those common to premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Winter's issues included breathing, sucking/swallowing, severe acid reflux, tracking with his eyes and managing his body's movements. After weeks and weeks of testing, it was discovered that Winter suffered a brain injury, and this injury was the cause of Winter’s difficulties. In the over 4 months since that time, Hanna + Clara have been by his side nearly 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. As you can imagine, this has caused great financial burden as Hanna has had to greatly reduce her work schedule as Manager at Le Petit Triangle in Cleveland and Clara has been recovering from her delivery, as well as caring for Winter and taking time away from her business as an Art Restorer.

It was in his best interest to be moved for more specialized care to the NICU at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio - where specialists that work with babies and children with feeding issues are located. This is an additional strain on the family as they are based in Cleveland, Ohio and Hanna and Clara are returning to Cleveland to work on the weekends.

After an updated and comprehensive MRI at Nationwide, the family was told they can anticipate Winter having issues with walking, talking, eating, seeing and moving - the future is unknown and the family needs financial support so they can begin to put together the pieces of what is going to be the best way to move forward. They need our love, presence and now: our financial support.
