Hey, my name is Brittany and this is the Seales family. Jennifer is my in-home sitter and cares for not only my children but several other families' children who love and rely on her daily, along with her husband Chad who is also well-loved and helpful. The kids call them "Nanny-Jen" and "Chad-Chad." Her children have been known throughout the summer to play with the children and interact in loving ways where their family is becoming our family.

Recently, Chad and their teenage son Haven were involved in a multivehicle car wreck, one that has gained recognition in the Bluff due to a fatality of a 19-year-old young man.

Chad was simply stopped with his blinker on, like any other night, to turn left into his neighborhood when a driver under the influence went to pass him in a non-turning lane, hitting an oncoming vehicle and also hitting Chad's truck. If that wasn't enough, another driver, also under the influence, driving in the opposite direction struck the same vehicle and the driver as he was leaving his vehicle. Chad and Haven are okay. The issue is there are some medical bills piling up now due to injuries from the wreck, and grief counseling for Haven that can be costly. Not only that, the family has lost their only means of transportation and they are having to find other means to get Chad to his job. Being that there has been a tragic loss of another beautiful life, there will be an ongoing investigation and it could be quite a while before insurance is applied to fix their vehicle. I'm holding this GoFundMe account in hopes to raise money to help this family do what they need with it. Whether that be financing a dependable family vehicle or paying for medical bills. Any small amount would be extremely helpful to this family. I have come on my own accord and have gotten permission from the family to do so. They would be so grateful for any help!
