Hello, my name is Cezar and in November of last year, I married my beautiful wife Michelly from Brazil. She arrived here on a K1 visa, also known as the 90-day Fiancé Visa. Michelly has three beautiful kids: Joao, Jordana, and Julia, and I have two: Lucas and Isabella. Together, we became a large family of 8. Yes, you read that correctly, 8. We are 7 months pregnant, expecting our 6th child, Anthony Rosario.
A little about the K1 Visa: When you get approved on a K1 visa, you have 90 days to get married, which we did immediately in November of 2023. Getting married within the 90 days allows us to move to the next step, which is a change of status. The change of status allows Michelly and the kids to get their Resident card, also known as the Green Card. Getting a green card allows them to be legal here in the United States without any risks of deportation. This also opens doors to things like Social Security numbers and the ability to work without the fear of doing something out of status.
Ok, I know that was a handful, but I promise I will get to the point. We need your help! We tried on our own, and it has not been easy. We have faith that God always provides, and until now, He has never failed us, and we believe He never will. Asking for help sometimes is not easy, and pride sometimes gets in the way. I would have never thought of asking for help, but a few good friends at church have convinced me that "Faith, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." So we are taking action as we are called to do so.
Our goal is to raise all or at least part of the money to pay the fees that come with the change of status. We would like to thank all of you in advance for hearing out our story, and if you can't give, please keep us in your prayers and share this with someone.
Thank you again,
The Rosario Braga Family
