Hi everyone,

My dad has been battling serious health issues but has been in & out the the hospital since May, for congestive heart failure, kidney failure, & other complications. He’s now stable at UCSF Medical Center, where he’s waiting for a heart and kidney transplant.

Our family is doing everything we can, but the medical bills, travel, & temporary housing near the hospital are adding up fast. After transplant, he’ll need to stay close to UCSF for 6–8 weeks to monitor recovery & adjust medications—something insurance doesn’t fully cover.

We don’t usually ask for help, but we need support now more than ever. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to helping with:

    •    Food and medication

    •    Medical expenses not covered by insurance
