<div>My dad has been battling serious health issues but has been in &amp; out the the hospital since May, for congestive heart failure, kidney failure, &amp; other complications. He’s now stable at UCSF Medical Center, where he’s waiting for a heart and kidney transplant.

<div>Our family is doing everything we can, but the medical bills, travel, &amp; temporary housing near the hospital are adding up fast. After transplant, he’ll need to stay close to UCSF for 6–8 weeks to monitor recovery &amp; adjust medications—something insurance doesn’t fully cover.
