Aid the Gonzalez Family in Their Time of Need

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the Gonzalez family has been struck by an unimaginable tragedy. 

We are reaching out to the community and to those who know and love Mayke and his family during this incredibly difficult time. 

This past Wednesday, Mayke Gonzalez woke up to an unimaginable tragedy. Madeleyne, Rosa and Amanda were brutally stabbed by a family member and by the Grace of God, only Amanda and Rosa have survived this terrible ordeal. Now Amanda is left without her mother and her best friend and Rosa has lost her daughter as our beloved Made (Nene) succumbed to her wounds.

Now Mayke has lost his incredible sister and will have to provide emotional and financial support to both his mother and niece.

Made was a devoted mother, incredible loving sister, and a beloved daughter. She was an extremely loyal friend to all who knew her. Made had a deep passion for music and dance, often filling her home with vibrant rhythms and joy. Made’s legacy lives on through her daughter Amanda and the many lives she touched with her kindness, love, and unwavering dedication to her family.

We will always remember her many live lip synching Tik Tok videos that made everyone smile and her love for karaoke.

Amanda, a talented high school senior, has been passionately dancing since she was a little girl. Her dedication to the art has taken her to multiple national competitions, where she has showcased her versatility across various dance styles. Not only does she excel in dance but she also excels in academics, taking on dual enrollment classes and other leadership rolls in her school. 

Amanda's aspirations extend beyond the dance floor and the classroom; she aims to be the first person in her immediate family to graduate from college. With her tenacity and drive, Amanda is poised to achieve great success both academically and artistically, paving the way for a bright future.

Rosa, a proud Cuban immigrant, has spent her entire life in Hialeah, where she raised her two children and now cherishes her role as a grandmother. A resilient survivor of breast cancer, Rosa embodies strength and determination. Her deep love for her family has always been her guiding light.

Mayke, son of Rosa and a dedicated father, has embraced a dual role as both uncle and father figure to his niece, Amanda, due to her father's long absence. Alongside his wife Erika, Mayke ensures Amanda is fully included in his family's life, fostering a strong bond and providing her with a sense of belonging. His unwavering commitment brings stability and support to both Rosa and Amanda, making him an essential and cherished presence in their lives. Mayke is the kind of friend everyone wishes they had, if anyone ever needs anything, Mayke is the first one there, no questions asked. Now it is up to us to return the favor.
