Hello, my name is Stormy and I'm trying to raise money for my sweet friends. Below is their story:
Hi, my fabulous family and friends. This is Stephanie’s mom, Tenia. Wishing you all well, and may God’s glory keep shining upon you. This is a rough time for a lot of people, but it’s also an amazing time for a lot of people, too. This is about both, for my daughter.
I just saw this video today that my daughter Stephanie made because a friend left me a message that it was on YouTube. If she can share her pain so openly, I’m going to back her up. My daughter just published her book that took many, many years to accomplish. Book published, Amazing! About to be homeless, Rough! Actually, I don’t believe God will allow us to be on the street, although we have no place to go right now by this weekend. We’ve been trying to get our own place for far too long. It’s difficult on a fixed income, and when you have many health issues, to boot. People look at me, and they don’t see a woman with medical issues, which I like. I want to show God’s grace even during the bad and painful times. I gave my daughter the best life I could as a single and sick mom. I never gave up, and I will not now. She brings a glow to my heart every day. Covid changed a lot of things for us. Lots of deaths and home changes. I had to retire early due to health issues. Stephanie left home for several years, being a happily married woman, but she returned a battered woman. It got tough, but we were and still are blessed to be together. I tried to do a GoFundMe twice, and I don’t think we got more than $300 from the two. I look too healthy and not in need, I guess. That can also be amazing and rough, right? I always tell my daughter, where there's breath, there's hope. God loves you, and so do I.
