Aid Tatyana in Raising Dj and Niyah

On behalf of my friend Tatyana Crowder, please consider responding to her, DJ, & Niya's need. As the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:12-27), let's respond to our call to bear one another's burdens (Gal 6:2), and use our gifts to serve one another, as stewards of God's glorious grace (1 Peter 4:10).

Who she is:

"As you know, my name is Tatyana Crowder. I am the youngest of my mama's 5 children. I am also the only one of my siblings to not have children of their own. I came to Christ during my senior year of high school and life has never been the same for me. I graduated from Liberty University in 2018 with a Bachelors, 2019 with a Masters, while playing college basketball. In 2020, I moved to Memphis to become a teacher. Currently, I work in a high-needs school public school in Memphis, TN. Since moving here, I have bought a home, joined a thriving church, and found community that I love."

Tatyana's response to God's call:

"Back in March 2024, I felt God prompting me to invite my older sisters' 2 younger children, Dj and Niyah, to come to Memphis for the month of June. Little did I know, this would become more than just a one month vacation for Dj and Niyah. In response to God's calling, and a series of God-ordained circumstances, they will continue to be in my care full-time here in Memphis, TN."

The need:

"Dj and Niyah's childhood home was burned to the ground on July 13, causing them to lose everything they owned. By the grace of God, He had already secured them both a home (with me) and a school here in Memphis (through a generous donor).

Dj and Niyah have been blessed to be able to attend a local private Christian school here in Memphis through financial aid and the extreme generosity of another donor. However, there still remains a balance of about $7,000. I am asking for support. Being a single woman, raising 2 children will require child care and respite care for my own mental health & sanity, as we transition to become a family of 3 (without any family members nearby). Dj and Niyah's school offers after care until 5:45, which will cost $450 a month. I am requesting support to get through December, which is $2,250."

"2024 has presented numerous challenges and calls for faith and obedience in my life that have forced me to my knees in prayer and tears. Faith is not for the faint and weak at heart, and many times I feel inadequate and fearful but still I press on, alongside my community, like the Scriptures commands me.

Your support and prayers are literally holding me and encouraging my soul in this challenging season. I fully believe that God always blesses us to be a blessing to others and I consider it a high honor that God would entrust my little ole self to train up my niece and nephew in the ways of the Lord.
