11/05/24 Update: Skylar is still on ecmo and was intubated again this morning to help his lungs heal.

On October 29, 2024 Skylar Hagen, age 22 was on his way to work when he had a massive heart attack in Park Rapids, MN. He was brought to the local ER and was then air lifted to Bemidji, MN to have heart surgery. In recovery, it was determined he needed a wide variety of doctors to not only heal his heart but now focus on his lungs, heart, and kidneys. He was then taken by air to Abbott in Minneapolis. Skylar is now in stable condition where he will be on an Ecmo machine for at least a week and will have many more weeks of recovery. The money being raised will be going to costs of hotels, medical expenses, and maintaining costs of living during this unbelievable time. Please support Skylar and his family at this time.
