The great drummer Roy McCurdy is a friend and a contributor to the LA and world jazz scene. Formerly with Cannonball Adderley, Nancy Wilson, and so many other folks. His house in Altadena is still standing but uninhabitable, with lots of smoke damage. Naturally, he hasn't been able to get up there to investigate fully what he has to do to start the renewal process. He and his family are temporarily staying with friends, but Roy is going to have to rent a place for a while until the ashes clear! I'd like to help him, and I know you would, too.
