Hey everyone,

My mother, Rose was diagnosed with Progressive Muscular Atrophy recently. This diagnosis comes after a pretty bad fall and a minor car accident, cases where she lost her mobility. Her doctors say that she will likely be wheelchair bound, and will be in need of a full-time caregiver. She is already tasked with caring for my brother, who, due to his medical conditions, has required round-the-clock care for the majority of his life. My father, Scott works two jobs and also assists providing care for my brother.

I am making arrangements to move back to Anchorage to be with her and the rest of my family to help make her more comfortable and provide care long-term. I am asking for my friends and loved ones to help support my family financially at this time, to help my dad take time off of work to help at home, as well as the fees associated with moving across the country unexpectedly.
