Hi, my name is Ana Paula Cunha. My family and I are trying to raise funds for our sister Rose Monte. Sadly, she is presently being detained under immigration for deportation. At this present time, we are trying to raise funds for her legal fees and her expenses while she is detained in a facility until she gets deported to our country of Portugal.

Rose is a mom who has one daughter, Natishia, and two grandchildren that she loves so much. Her granddaughter Arihanna is so heartbroken to see her grandmother go, and her grandson Nathaniel will also miss her. My family is also sad that this is happening to our family member. She doesn't deserve to be deported because she came to this country legally in 1968 when she was 1 1/2 years old. Rose is one of 12 siblings of the Monte family.

Due to this new administration, they are enforcing the laws not just for the illegals but also those who are green card holders that got into some trouble.

Since my parents are no longer with us, and my family doesn't have the means to help her financially, anything donated would help her with expenses.

We appreciate any help we can get for our sister Rose Marie Monte.
