Dear Friends and Family,
As an extended community, we have always been fortunate and blessed to have my dad, Ron Kahler Jr. in our lives. For those of you who do not know him, Ron is kind-hearted 66-year-old carpenter by trade, father, son, brother and an amazing selfless friend who has, in one way or another, been there to help each and every one of us. Ron has not only built beautiful homes and custom projects with his hands, but has also built strong bonds with everyone he has helped through his passion for being 'Mr. Fix-It'.
On February 4th, 2025 Ron suffered a very serious stroke, leading to partial paralysis of his left side. His road to recovery is long, challenging, and costly. Now, it’s our turn to come together and support him in his time of need. Your generous contributions will help cover costs with assistance for day-to-day needs, caregiving, and outstanding bills. He will no longer be able to work to make ends meet. Social Security benefits do not cover his total monthly debts.
Your help will ensure that Ron is able to retain his current home where he can recover with some normalcy. Our long-term goal is for him to receive 24/hr care at home. Home Care comes with a lengthy application process. We will not know the level of care he qualifies for, if any, for nearly 3 months. Every donation, big or small, will make an enormous difference in Ron's life. Please help show him the same warmth and genuine support he has graciously given every one of us over the years.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. If you have any questions about his circumstances or condition, please reach out anytime!
“We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other. If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.”
Thank you kindly,
Chelsea Kahler
