Aid Robert's Family in Overcoming Wildfire Impact

Donation protected

Hello everyone,

We have been praying constantly for the families who have lost so much in these wildfires, from family members, homes, personal belongings, pets, jobs, and so much more. This devastating disaster has caused so much trauma and sadness across California.

On behalf of my husband, I have started this page asking for assistance for unforeseen financial strains as the Eaton fire has left the beautiful Altadena in disarray, resulting in my husband (Robert) losing his job where he has been for the past 10+ years. Robert was born and raised in the Pasadena and Altadena area, and experiencing this has left him in a state of depression as he witnesses his childhood burn before his eyes. Robert is the father of four beautiful children (Parker, Alana {who is now in heaven}, Pharaoh, and Robert V) and is anxious trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces.

Thankfully, our home was spared, and that is the reason Robert did not want to create a page or ask for assistance as he wanted those who lost their homes to be prioritized. Although we did not lose our home, we had to make the decision to leave Pasadena and relocate because of our son's (Pharaoh) condition. Pharaoh was born premature with a rare medical disorder (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) and spent the first 8 months of his life in the NICU. After several surgeries and procedures, Pharaoh now has a lifelong medical condition called Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (chronic lung disease). We have already had to go to urgent care for him and just had an E.R. visit late last night due to his breathing being compromised by the fire smoke. We fear we will have to make another difficult decision for the sake of our child’s health and will most likely not be returning to Pasadena. The air quality reads “Good” now on the weather app, but it does not take into account the toxins and dangerous particles left in the air due to the debris and smoke, so we urge everyone in L.A. to wear a mask and protect yourselves.

We are grateful we still have our family and are safe while we stay at my parents' home in Corona temporarily. The funds will be used for costs related to starting new after the fires.

Any monetary gift is appreciated, no matter the amount, and even better is a prayer for our family and those who have been affected by the devastating wildfires in California. We are continuing to pray for everyone.

Thank you again!
