Remembering Robert Wilson
Donation protected
Robert Wilson was my brother-in-law. He was only 48 when he died suddenly at home. We don't have all the answers as to how or why this happened. What we do know is that he has so many people whose lives he has touched. He has two daughters, Rylie (17) and Skylar (10) and a wife Carissa (They had been separated for over 2 years but hadn't made any definite plans yet). Both of his parents, Sharon and Dennis, are still living as well as his two sisters, Crissy and Kim (also his brothers-in-law and nephews and nieces Mike, Gary, Patrick, Ashley and Kaylee). He had so many friends that became family as well. I'm sure Bill and Janet will miss him dearly, along with many other friends. All this to say, his loss will and has affected so many.
Robert had an overactive sense of humor, and he possessed a biting wit that hid the teddy bear underneath. He was kind, generous, and a pretty decent cook. He had his struggles with the recent loss of a close friend and other hardships at times, but he was also healing old wounds. He was learning how to be vulnerable and loving. He was a complex character whose story wasn't finished. Losing him is a tragedy.
Your thoughts, prayers, calls, and messages of support have been so meaningful. If you'd like to help his grieving family with expenses, that'd mean a lot. Thank you.
