Aid Rhonda VanNice's Journey Through Stage 4 Cancer

Hello, my name is Leslie. As some of you know, back in October, mom ( Rhonda VanNice ) was diagnosed with stage 2 bladder cancer. In February, she had surgery to remove her bladder in hopes of preventing the cancer from spreading. However, during surgery, they found that it had spread to her small intestines and colon, so they ended up removing that as well, leaving her with a colostomy and a urostomy. In March, she went to get another PET scan, and they found it had metastasized to her liver and that she now has stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer. She started chemo and began having pain and swelling around her stoma (colostomy). At first, they thought it was an infection and treated it as such. After a week of fevers and multiple ER visits, we took her to St. Louis to try to get some better answers from her doctors at Mercy Hospital. We were told that she had 6 spots in her liver, 1 in her lung, and two in her abdomen, and that there wasn’t anything else they can do for her other than keep her comfortable. I’m opening this go fund me to ask for your help and financial support to try and alleviate some of the medical expenses now, and the expenses to come in the future.
