Rett Williams is my brother. In late October last year, he was in a terrible and tragic car accident when he was driving early in the morning to take his friend home.

He had to overcorrect to stop himself from hitting an obstacle in the road and ran into multiple other vehicles.

In the accident, Rett’s friend was fatally injured, and Rett himself broke his arms, legs, and collarbone, while also having his internal organs lacerated in the crash. After the wreck, Rett was put on life support but was not expected to live.

Fast forward to now, and Rett is still bedridden but is slowly recovering from the accident and the trauma that has come with it.

But after the accident, he owes tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills and is now also undergoing an intense legal battle.

Rett was simply trying to take his friend home to help him out, and it turned into a terrible and tragic accident caused by unforeseen events that were not his fault.

He is now fighting a legal battle while still not being anywhere close to having recovered from the life-altering injuries that he sustained.

We all know that times are tough right now financially, especially for those like Rett. So we do not expect a ton of help. But any support that you are able to provide to assist Rett would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you to everyone that has supported Rett so far in this awful situation. So many amazing friends and family members have gone out of their way to help get Rett back to some semblance of normal. It has made a truly positive impact on his well-being.

We know God is watching over Rett and has had his hand in doing everything he can to support him. And we pray that God continues to watch over Rett and turn this tragic accident into a story of God’s power and love.
