In a heartbreaking turn of events, Veenu and Puneet — two incredible souls — lost their lives in a tragic head-on car accident. This devastating incident was through no fault of their own and has left a gaping hole in the hearts of their family, friends, and community.

Puneet was a devoted father and husband, and a brilliant Senior Software Engineer working in Cloud and AI at Microsoft. He brought innovation, intelligence, and kindness into every space he entered. Veenu, a gentle and dedicated pediatric dentist in Roseville, California, spent her days bringing smiles and healing to children in need. Their compassion and love were felt by all who knew them.

They leave behind their two young children — an 8-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son — who are now facing not only the unimaginable loss of both parents but also a long road of recovery. Both children have undergone multiple surgeries and still face months of physical therapy, emotional healing, and long-term care.
