Phillip Moy Is Recovering from a Stroke

Nothing could have prepared me for what happened on Sunday 4/27/25. I just had a feeling that something wasn’t right. My dad didn’t respond to my messages all day. I took the train to check on my parents, only to find my dad had fallen and was on the floor since the morning. My dad had a hemorrhagic stroke. Thankfully we got him to the hospital. After 9 days in ICU, he’s progressed to the rehab ward at the hospital to start regaining his mobility and independence. As you know, my dad has always been outgoing, caring and giving to friends and family. He does web design and loves woodworking, cooking and using his hands. We’re praying that he will recover well. Due to my mom’s dementia, I’m looking at rehabs with memory care so my parents can be together, and I’ll feel safer knowing they’ll be in good hands.
