Hi, my name is Perla Verduzco and I am reaching out for help during one of the hardest times of our lives. My husband, Hector, was taken into custody by immigration on May 27, 2025. We have three children with disabilities, and because of their special needs, especially our youngest who has ongoing medical conditions, I am unable to work as I need to dedicate myself fully to caring for them at home.

Hector has always been our family’s support, both emotionally and financially. Since his detention, it has been extremely difficult to stay stable. Emotionally, our children are struggling every single day without their father. They are very close to him, and his absence has affected them deeply. The fear of him being forced to leave the U.S. is overwhelming for them. They just want their dad home, where he has always been a loving and present father.

Economically, I am doing everything I can, but it has become very hard to manage on my own. I am currently trying to raise funds to pay our attorney so we can keep fighting Hector’s case and give him the chance to stay here. Our hope is to keep our family together and give our children the peace and support they need.
