Pat Blount's Journey to Full Recovery

On July 2nd, 2024 our dear friend Patrick Blount suffered a stroke at home. Thankfully, his wife Vicki was able to contact the local fire and EMT’s. Their quick response, along with God’s providence has allowed him to begin the road to recovery.

Pat is a man of unwavering strength and deep faith. Known for his humor, he always brings laughter with his jokes, even in tough times. He is a role model, inspiring with his resilience and kindness. His family means everything to him, and his love and dedication are evident in all he does. They shared how they are blessed to have him, and aspire to be more like him every day.

He is on the mend! Now more than ever is the time for us as his community to gather around Pat and his family with prayers and support. We are reaching out on behalf of the Blount family with specific needs in this season.

Due to the nature of the stoke, additional, unforeseen medical costs have accrued- from the time spent in the ER, to now ongoing physical therapy for the foreseeable future. On top of this, there are specific modifications that must be made to their home to better support Pat during this time. Specifically, a ramp and a modified shower, among other adjustments, will be necessary to make Pat's transition home that much better. Please pray about what contribution you feel led to give.
