Dear Friends and Fiddler's Creek Community,

I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, our wonderful Jamaican friends who work so hard at the Beach Club and Gator Grill have become part of our extended family here. Sadly, since Hurricane Melissa, they have had no communication with their families back home, and we can only imagine how difficult and heartbreaking this has been for them.

We want to come together as a community to support them during this uncertain time. Our goal is to raise funds to help their families rebuild and get back on their feet as they begin to recover from the devastation. Every contribution—big or small—will make a difference in helping them restore their homes and lives.

If you’d like to contribute, we are collecting donations in this GoFundMe link. Please share this message with others who may wish to help. Money collected will go straight to our Jamaican staff members of the Marco Ocean Beach Resort. We will cash out the Go Fund Me funds raised and personally give to 15 Jamaican staff members. The funds are being used to fix their homes after the Hurricane devastated their homes in Jamaica. They are also being spent on supplies here in the States to ship back to Jamaica as their supplies are very limited at this time.

This is a time when compassion and community truly matter. Let’s show our Jamaican friends the same warmth and generosity they bring to us every day.
