Aid Needed: Hamlett Family Emergency

Hello, we're the Hamlett's!

TL;DR - We need financial support while Jez and Tyler are unable to work.

Pictured from left to right, there's Jez, Lily, Emmy and Tyler. We are in need of financial support through an extremely difficult and unprecedented family emergency.

Jez is a grad student at OSU in Human Development and Family Studies. In addition to her university work, Jez has provided our main source of income through working for OSU. Tyler has been working part time and taking care of Lily and Emmy.

Jez took leave from OSU at the start of the new year and soon after experienced a complete mental breakdown. She has been suffering from a psychotic episode for over 2 weeks now. Jez has been unable to take care of herself (including making food and proper hygiene care) and it is unsafe for our children to be at home. We've received love and support from the community and have been able to stay at friends' homes in the interim.

Tyler is currently unable to work due to caregiving for Lily & Emmy as well as checking on and assisting Jez. We have been extensively searching for help and assistance to get Jez the care she desperately needs. Unfortunately, we still do not know for sure the exact mental illness or cause of Jez's psychosis.

Since we do not know how long this episode will last or the possibly lingering effects once Jez can receive the proper treatment, we need your help to pay for our basic living expenses, like rent. Thank you for your time and any donation is immensely appreciated.
