Support needed for Retired Father's Car

Hi there! My name is Vanessa and I am the daughter of an amazing human being. He has sacrificed so much for his family and now as a retired chef, he spends time with his grandchildren to keep himself healthy and busy.

His car was recently totaled by a drunk driver, and he put a lot of his savings into purchasing it literally 4 months ago. Any help is appreciated in getting this amazing father, human, and grandfather back on the road would be greatly appreciated!

He purchased this car for about $13K and the cost to fix it was just shy of $12K. We're hoping to get to $10K to help alleviate down payment costs and taxes.
