We’re Struggling – But Not Giving Up

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be in a position to write something like this, and to be honest, it’s incredibly hard and humbling to ask for help. This isn’t just a plea for a handout—I want to make it crystal clear: I will work my butt off in exchange for any support you can offer.

If you’re local, I’m more than willing to do:

• Yard work

• Deep cleaning

• Car detailing

• Grocery shopping

• Other odd jobs

I'll build a deck for you if that's what you wanted. I cant promise it would be up to code but I can promise it would be pretty.

I’m not afraid of hard work—I just need a little breathing room to get us through this rough patch.

Here’s what’s going on:

Our sole provider recently suffered a torn Achilles tendon. He’s been unable to work, and navigating the Oregon Medical Leave Act has been a confusing and frustrating nightmare. We’ve been trying to play by the rules, but just when we thought he could return to work, a new roadblock popped up: they now require a doctor’s release note.

The problem? Curry Medical won’t release him until he’s seen an orthopedic surgeon. And so far, no referral has been made, and we’re stuck in limbo—no income and no answers.

We’re not behind yet, but time is running out, and we’re scared of what’s next. We like having a home. We love our community. And we’re doing everything we can to avoid falling behind on rent and basic bills.
