Aid My Sister's Recovery from Tragic Loss

On Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, my sister lost everything. They had only been gone from their houseboat for 2 hours and got a call that their houseboat (home) was going under. Nearly everything they own was lost.

Our family has suffered so many struggles over the past few years; it is ridiculous. They nearly lost everything due to an injury a year ago. They made their way through that and were just getting on the right track, and now this. My sister and brother-in-law are two of the kindest, most loving, and most loyal people I have ever known, and they simply do not deserve the hand they have been dealt. This is absolutely devastating for them. They have given to their family and friends until it hurts... and then they gave more! They have never asked for anything from anyone.

They've lost everything and now are facing a massive retrieval fee to get the two boats out of the lake. The amount I'm asking for in this GoFundMe doesn't even scratch the surface of the cost.
