Hello!

My name is Destiny Karns, and my family and I are creating this for my mom to help her out.

My mother, Misty Ramirez, has been in the Swedish Medical Center since November 8th. She was brought here by ambulance to remove a tumor from her left ovary. While in surgery, they found that the tumor was the size of a newborn baby's head, which caused them to perform a full hysterectomy. She is still being hospitalized due to pain and swelling in her feet, ankles, and part of her calves and won’t be able to be released until that is under control. She is still undergoing many tests to try and find answers as to what is causing the swelling and pain. They believe it is caused by nerve damage but cannot find what caused the nerve damage to begin with. My mom has spoken to many different doctors, and each doctor has said to run more tests as all of the tests she has had still have not given us answers. She is limited in her walking as she cannot walk on her own without a walker and help from the nurses. My mom will have to have intense physical therapy along with many doctor visits to Colorado.

Since she has been in the hospital longer than expected, her bills have been adding up. So, I am setting up this GoFundMe to help her pay for bills that she has but to also help her pay for her physical therapy, doctor visits, and everything else she needs to get better as her insurance, as we found out, will not cover any of it.
