Aid Melissa Powell in Her Time of Need

Hi,

My name is Tina Nesbitt and I am trying to raise money for my dear sister Melissa Powell. About a year ago her live in boyfriend who already was working with difficulties from a stroke fell and broke his hip and is also legally blind from diabetes can no longer work. Melissa never complains just pushes through it every long day. Working as much time as she possibly can while taking care of her loved one and always with a smile on her face and cracking a joke.

While at work last Thursday, August 22nd Melissa suffered a major heart attack and had to be taken out of work by ambulance. I rushed to the hospital to find they already had taken her for a procedure to have 2 stents put in place and she was at death’s door. And if anyone knows Missy like I do she’s a strong, resilient and stubborn, if she went to the hospital willing you know it’s bad!

Once I was able to see her all she was worried about was losing her overtime for the week! It broke my heart for as much as she sacrifices for everyone else couldn’t find it in herself to worry about her health. Terrified that she has no insurance to pay for any of this and being out of work and not being able to pay her bills, mortgage, utilities, medicine, medical attention she now desperately needs. Missy is doing well but will be out of work for several weeks maybe months.

Anything you can possibly do is greatly appreciated.
