Matthew Almaguer's Family Needs

Update...

It pains me to say my husband Matthew Almaguer has lost his battle with stage 4 Cancer. He passed away at home on 12/31/24 with his family close by. He is no longer in pain and was welcomed into heaven with loving arms. His Celebration of Life will be Thurs 1/9/25 at the Weed, Corley, Fish Funeral Home

2620 South Congress Ave. Visitation will start at 4pm and ceremony will start at 6pm.

My name is Stacie Ramos-Almaguer. I am a mother of two teenage boys David and Jeremy, and wife to a loving husband Matthew Almaguer. Up until this past March things were going great. Matthew was working hard to support his family towing and working on cars. He enjoyed being a part of the Del Valle HS Band Booster Team helping our son and his band mates when needed. He regularly repaired broken equipment ensuring that all students were safe.

He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 testicular and muscular cancer. He has also had a series of strokes that have left him in a wheelchair without the ability to move the right side of his body and struggles to talk at times. He is currently needing Chemo treatments every two weeks, both speech and physical therapy, medications, and help with finances. With the school year starting there also a few things needed for my boys to start the school year right. Any and all help is appreciated.
