Hello, my name is Maria Di Meco. I started this gofundme to help my family and me pay for the water damages in our home that happened on November 23, 2024. After coming back from a grocery trip, just four days before my wedding, my mom and I came home to find water coming down from the upstairs bathroom. A toilet hose broke and caused water damage in over half the house. Although insurance is covering for some of the damages and renovations my family and I will have to pay the rest out of pocket. We're simply trying to get everything fixed and start paying for renovations that should finally start in March 2025. Currently, my mom is staying in one of the rooms that was salvaged with our 5 pets and then will be moving to a space during the renovations. The funds raised will go to pay for the renovations that our insurance won't cover. The current damages are at $30,000 and we're slowly trying to make the payments.
