Aid Marcus Lindsey's Long Recovery Journey
Donation protected
My brother, Marcus Lindsey, was in a severe accident. Upon impact, he was ejected, and his truck caught fire and burned. He was airlifted to Tupelo Hospital. They said he has several rib breaks, a small spleen bleed, and have given him one unit of blood, and a fractured acetabulum (hip fracture). They have moved him to CCU to keep an eye on him to monitor the spleen. They were doing more X-rays of the left side and right ankle due to the amount of pain. They have ordered oral and IV pain meds to help keep him comfortable. They said they will more than likely do a sedation on Monday to see the severity of the acetabulum, and if needed, they would do surgery while he is already under anesthesia. We appreciate all the prayers, calls, and texts that we have received.
I am posting this because the doctors are saying he is going to be on a long road of recovery. Any help in this time of need would be greatly appreciated. This money would be to help cover costs for doctor bills, food, etc. Thank you for your help. God bless you.
Update:
He has been 1 week in the Hospital in Tupelo MS. He has been through surgery, they repaired his hip socket, spleen. He is going to have to do in house therapy at Tupelo Hospital for two more weeks then he will be looking at a 6 months of being out of work due to the broken ribs and hip fracture. We greatly appreciate all the help and donations that have been given. He still has a long road of recovery to go and any help that can be given is appreciated. God Bless You & Thank You.
