I write this on behalf of Federico Mares who was tragically detained by ICE on August 12, 2025 at Handy J Car Wash. Federico has lived and served in Culver City for over 35 years. He and his wife have built an honest, hardworking life here, raising their sons who attended CCUSD K-12. We are raising funds to help pay for legal fees, and living expenses for the family in this time of uncertainty. Anything helps and is gratefully received.
