My sister's home in Lakeland, Florida was severely damaged by Hurricane Milton. Her neighbor's 100-year-old tree crashed through her roof right over her bed in the middle of the night, leaving gaping holes. Thankfully, she only suffered some minor injuries to her chest and arm, and her husband was not injured. I am Kathryn Erickson, and I am creating this GoFundMe account for my sister, Kym Erickson Sparks, and her family.

To add insult to injury, my sister has also recently begun cancer treatment.

As if those two things were not enough, Kym’s husband, Lewis, fell today and fractured his femur. Lewis requires a surgical repair and hospitalization.

I am asking for your help to defray the costs that seem to be mounting exponentially on a daily basis.
