Aid Kayla & her unborn son after tragic loss of her Fiancé

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of my sister Kayla who is facing one of the most difficult times in her life.

At six months pregnant with a beautiful baby boy, Kayla has recently lost her fiancé, Peter 'Robert', leaving her devastated and suddenly having to navigate life as a single mother. Kayla and Robert met at Lane College in 2009. They both left their hometown, Milwaukee WI, and moved to Jackson TN as young adult on to pursue an HBCU College experience. They dated briefly during college but Kayla moved back home after their sophomore year and they remained friends. Fast forward to 2019 they rekindled and the relationship picked back up right where they left off.. Loving each other! Kayla was the silly, social one and Robert was quiet and reserved. They were the perfect match! Robert was not only her partner but also her rock. They were so excited to start their family together as right after the engagement came the announcement of the baby they've been planning for! This loss has turned their world upside down.

While she is trying to stay strong for her baby boy, the emotional, physical, and financial challenges are overwhelming. Kayla has an extremely supportive family who is ready to step up and be there every step of the way but honestly, as she prepares to welcome her son into the world, she’s now facing the uncertainty of raising him without the support of Robert that she had planned on.
