My name is Evelin, and I am writing this on behalf of my mom, Josefina Rivera. Over the past few weeks, my mom has been facing serious housing instability. As a result, she has lost access to nearly all of her personal belongings. Despite everything, my mom continues to push forward to make sure my two younger brothers have a safe place to stay and warm food to eat.

At this time, she is being required to pay a large and unreasonable fee in order to regain access to her possessions. This has created an overwhelming financial burden. My mom is a single parent and one of the hardest-working people I know. She has always done everything in her power to keep my brothers and me safe, supported, and cared for, even during the most difficult moments.

We are asking for support to help cover this fee so my mom can recover her belongings and focus on rebuilding stability for our family.
