Hello everyone. I am writing this on behalf of my fiancé Jonas Menarde. Anybody who knows Jonas knows that all he ever wanted to do in life was to be "Dad". He takes being a dad very seriously, and his son is the center of his world.

I met Jonas almost 6 years ago after his separation from his son's mother. I fell in love with Jonas by watching him sacrifice everything to make sure he was there for his son, and meeting his every need.

The relationship he had with his son's mother ended when the child was just 3 years old. Since then, he has maintained Shared Custody with a Split Week Schedule no matter what obstacles were placed in his way. In the beginning, Jonas spent over $28,000 in Airfare, Rental Cars, and other such expenses to ensure he was actively involved in his son’s life. He would fly back and forth from Florida to Pennsylvania every week. He would pick up his son every Sunday and return him every Wednesday. He would then fly back to Florida to work Thursday through Saturday. That was his weekly schedule for 14 months straight. Thereafter, Jonas helped finance the mother’s return to Florida, and exclusively paid for their son’s school tuition for the next three years.

Jonas has always put the needs, and best interest of his son first. Making those weekly trips to PA was all about making sure his son always knew that "Dad would always be there for him. No Matter What". Jonas has always been present in his son's life, and the two of them have always been inseparable.

He was his son's Classroom Parent in Kindergarten, and volunteered at his son's school so often that he eventually became employed by the school as Groundskeeper, and Summer Camp Counselor. Jonas loves being around his son and thrives on being consistent in his life.

Unfortunately, he is now in court for the fourth time since his separation and the costs just keep accruing. This is tearing his entire family apart.

He is now 5 years deep in litigation, and there is no end in sight. The legal fees are growing at an astronomical rate. He has exhausted his Savings and Credit Card Limits. This is just the beginning of a long legal process, and he is currently working as a part-time bartender and maintenance person. He works both day and night just to pay for these expenses.

Jonas is not a person who would ask for help in any way. He is always the person who is helping others. So, I am creating this in hopes that people share his story, and he may find some financial and mental relief. All funds raised will go to Jonas to cover all costs associated with his case.
