Hi I'm Lauren and my family had a total loss house fire on 8/28/21. During the process, our initial builder misappropriated our insurance funds and abandoned the job mid-build. We were forced to make the hardest decision of our lives: lose everything to complete the build, or walk away and lose everything we just invested to the mortgage company (we only purchased the home one month before the fire). Due to the housing market, walking away was not an option so we put everything, including the insurance reimbursement funds for personal belongings lost in the fire, into completing the build. Thankfully we found an amazing builder who completed the job to perfection and it's time to move in!

Luckily through yard sales, donations and marketplace we found furnishings, but we're looking for help with the small things you use in everyday life: floor mats, brooms, plungers, toothbrush holders, vacuum, hangers, flatware, a garden rake, snow shovel, etc.

I'm humbly asking for help in re-stocking so that we can more quickly get back to normalcy. Any bit counts! I know many of us are in trying financial times so this is a big ask. Thank you in advance for anything you have in your heart to spare!!
