Hello everyone! I am currently trying to apply for a AZA grant in order to pursue Kori Bustard Conservation in Zimbabwe. As of right now this gofundme is to help pay for plane tickets and possibly pay for volunteer program, if I am not accepted for this grant. I would be spending a month out in Zimbabwe either in the month of July or August studying Kori Bustards in their natural habitat as well other African animals. This trip would help me bring back information in order to help better care for the Kori bustards I currently work with at the Abilene Zoo and as well as be able to help support/promote Kori bustard conservation while working with the Murarabungu conservation initiative. This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity, to be doing something I absolutely love, and that’s being a conservation advocate as well as a zookeeper.
