Aid Ike Overstreet in Raising His Daughters
Donation protected
Hello all,
My name is John, and I have started this for my brother in law and my two nieces.
My brother in law James (Ike) Overstreet and my nieces, Peyton (15), and Kadynne (14) recently lost their wife and mother ( My sister Cindi (Matson) Overstreet to a courageous two and a half year battle with a form of aggressive cancer that affected her brain, and ultimately took her from her family.
Cindi had been a stay at home for the past twelve years after Cady was born to take care of the girls. Two years later Peyton was diagnosed as being autistic, and Cady was diagnosed about two years later.
Ike is now faced with the daunting task of raising their daughters on his own, of course with the help of our family. He has always been a hard working laborer and has a great job close to my parents and I here in Vermont, and his employer has been more than amazing and generous throughout the time Cindi was sick, but the solid future for them is not a guarantee, and this is the way I figured I would most be able to help.
Any gifts received would be to help take care of the girls which was my sister's last wishes.
Any tiny amount you can donate to Peyton and Kadynne would be so appreciated to help them and Ike get through the coming year, and if donating isn't possible then please take the time to share this in hopes that someone who sees it may, and will hopefully share it as well. It will not bring Cindi back, but hopefully it can do something to help her family to make things a little easier.
