Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My father, Gordon (Goober) Stevens Sr., has recently been hospitalized after not being able to walk these last three months. During those last three months he did not check himself into the hospital because he was taking care of his Mother and my Grandmother, Reatha Stevens. Unfortunately, Reatha passed away this last Friday the 16th.

Goober is going to need to stay in the hospital for an extensive amount of time for Rehabilitation to hopefully be mobile again and get his health back in order.

Goober is a loving father and friend who has always been there for others in their time of need. Now, he finds himself in a position where he needs our help more than ever. The medical bills are quickly piling up, and due to his Mother passing away he will not be able to afford rent while he is hospitalized and until we can figure out another living situation.

We are doing everything we can from the opposite side of the country as we live in California and he is in Virginia. We are asking for your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign with others. Every little bit helps and will go directly toward covering medical bills, treatment costs, and essential living expenses for our family during this difficult time.
