Aid fund for LGBTQI plus #EndSars protesters

Black Queer & Trans Resistance Netherlands stands in solidarity with the LGBTQI + community in Nigeria.
In the growing global attention around the latest #EndSARS protests we cannot ignore the multi-layered oppression, violence and levels of harassment that the LGBTQI + Nigerian community face from SARS as well as from other protesters.
The ongoing protests have made Queer and Trans Nigerians more vulnerable and in more desperate need of safe housing due to a massive increase of Queerphobic and Transphobic violence.
We are setting up this pool fund to provide an easier and faster way to pull together money for Safe Hquse. This helps and spares Safe Hquse with the extra work of having to handle every individual donation and request of donation through their Bitcoin Wallet. We would also like to make a clear call out to the multiple LGBTQI + organizations that we have in The Netherlands that operate in the name of “Pride” and call on them the question: When are u going to show your solidarity and financial support with and for the LGBTQI + community in Nigeria?
All of our proceeds will be donated to Safe Hquse (@safehquseng) as transparently possible.
Safe Hquse is a LGBTQI + led project created by Adaeze Fèyísàyò that started with providing 2 days of temporary safe housing for LGBTQI + protesters in Nigeria but after the eve of the 20th October also disbursed their donations into more resources prioritizing LGBTQI + Nigerians like:
- Furthermore providing 2 days of temporary safe housing/lodging
- Providing food and further nutritional resources.
- Financing Medicare,Surgery and Therapy for the victims of violence and
harassment.
- Financing those in need of transportation.
