Aid for the Family of Nirtha Mejill

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that, over the weekend, one of our student's grandmother, Nirtha Mejill, has passed away. She had been battling COVID-19 and had been hospitalized for several weeks.
Nirtha was a dedicated volunteer in the Hanson Park Pre-K building, where she assisted students and teachers selflessly and with a smile on her face. She and her family came to the United States from Puerto Rico 3 years ago after the devastation of Hurricane Maria. Now their family is suffering another painful loss.
Nirtha was a lovely, compassionate, and caring person. Always happy and full of joy. We will dearly miss her!
We are hoping for donations in order to help Nirtha's family with the cost of funeral arrangements and other expenses. We want to do all we can to help the family of a woman who dedicated so much of herself to helping others. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
