Hi, my name is Rosemary, and I'm starting this fundraiser during one of the hardest moments my family has ever faced.

Over the past two weeks, I was hospitalized due to a serious medical emergency. During my stay, I coded twice and suffered a seizure. It was terrifying, and while I am incredibly grateful to still be here, I am now home and recovering with significant limitations.

During this time, my fiancé, Mannix, did everything he could to hold our world together. He traveled back and forth from home to the hospital multiple times a day to be with me while also caring for our home, our dogs, cats, and chickens. Because of this, he missed nearly two weeks of work. The paycheck he did receive went entirely to gas just to make those trips possible.

We live about an hour from Albuquerque and currently have to drive there 2–3 times a week for medical needs. Mannix also works in Los Lunas, which is about 20–30 minutes from home, adding to our ongoing fuel costs. Gas alone has become overwhelming.

We are now completely broke. We don't have money for food, gas, or even a new pair of shoes for our son, Oliver, which he urgently needs. To make things even more stressful, Mannix may not receive a paycheck next Friday because he already used the remainder of his PTO in December when I had brain surgery. If that happens, we will have no income until after February 13th.

I am currently unable to do much physically, including cooking and cleaning, as I focus on recovery. Our home was already in disarray due to my previous surgery, and after everything that has happened, it has become overwhelming. Even having someone come help clean our home would be an incredible blessing and would take a huge weight off our shoulders during this recovery period.

We are asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. While financial assistance would help us stay afloat, we also deeply appreciate other forms of support such as meals delivered to our home or help with cleaning while I heal.

Any help—whether through donations, meals, cleaning assistance, or simply sharing this fundraiser—is appreciated more than we can put into words.
