Aid for Patenaude Family in Their Time of Loss

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and devastating loss of Stephen Patenaude, who passed away on March 12th. Stephen leaves behind his loving wife, Allison, and their children, Nate and Morgan, who are left struggling to find their way through a world without him. In this difficult time, we are reaching out to offer our support to this incredible family as they navigate the challenges ahead.

Stephen was a man who lived with purpose. His greatest role in life was that of a devoted partner to Allison and a loving father to their kids. Those close to them often referred to them as “couples goals” and loved to tease them for their outward show of affection, true soulmates. While he was also a devoted son and brother, a respected teacher, a loyal friend, and an exceptional host to all who knew him, it was at home—where he was surrounded by the people he loved most—that Stephen truly thrived. Stephen will also be remembered as a fierce advocate for Nate, his best bud, and biggest fan. Nate required much of Stephen’s time and attention as a non-verbal child with autism who also struggles with a seizure disorder. Stephen worked tirelessly to support Nathan’s needs, and Allison will need to find additional resources.

The loss of Stephen has already left a deep hole in the hearts of those who knew him, and the financial burden now facing Allison and the kids is overwhelming. As they begin to navigate this heartbreaking new reality, we are asking for your help to ease the many burdens they are facing. Our goal is to raise at least $50,000 to help fund current and future care of the children and the unexpected expenses that will come along with changes in their lives as they try to heal and move forward.

Stephen was a giver up to the very end as an organ donor, staying on life support additional time in order to support the donation of his vital organs, impacting dozens of families who had given up hope.

Stephen was always the first to offer help and every donation, no matter the size, will help provide a sense of stability and peace as this family takes their first steps forward. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you share this page with others who might be able to help.
Your kindness and support will make a world of difference to the Patenaude family as they navigate this time of unimaginable grief.
