September 24, 2025, was a day none of us expected but one we will never forget. A single mother, only daughter, and a lifelong childhood friend for some of us. To say that she lost a battle to cancer is rough when she stepped up to the plate years prior to undergo the treatments when detected once before. Ten-plus years later, among many things, she was TAKEN by cancer that was not discovered, and it progressed into her final days.

Krista was the breadwinner, brainstormer, be-all, do-all in her home. She wore many hats and juggled more than most out here who are trying to make it all happen for the survival of her family home where she grew up and raised her daughter alongside her single mother, Mary. She was a soft-hearted person with desires for more, yet she became one who unfortunately lost her battles to a life that took full advantage of her. All of this was very unexpected and left behind more than immense pain from the loss, but an emptiness that cannot be recovered, and unfortunately, huge financial concern/worry as we scramble to try to put together all the pieces to help Mary and Angel to try to pick up where Krista left off with the mortgage, insurance, car payment, utilities, etc. She carried it all and managed every bit of it for her small family.

We are asking for any financial assistance that you can provide to help with living costs for Krista's daughter Angel Marie and her mother, Mary. They have been blessed with many food and hot meal donations these past few weeks and are so appreciative of all the love and compassion they have received along the way since Krista's passing. It has truly shown us that all humanity has not been lost and that there are such caring hearts that rise up in the midst of such deep and dark times, even when unplanned like this. Please continue to keep them lifted in prayer so that they remain covered under God's grace throughout the challenges they face.
