We are heartbroken to share the sudden and unexpected passing of Justin Huffman, a beloved husband, parent, friend, and member of our community. Their loss has left a deep void in the lives of many — but especially in the hearts of their loving spouse, Maggie, and their two daughters, Alexis and Riley.
Alexis and Riley are active, vibrant young ladies with deep roots in their school and local communities. Alexis is a freshman at BIOMED Science Academy and currently plays varsity volleyball for the Waterloo School District. She and her younger sister, Riley, who is entering sixth grade at Waterloo, both play basketball for the school and are known for their sportsmanship and team spirit. You could always find Maggie and Justin in the bleachers cheering on their girls.
Maggie works for the BIOMED Science Academy and is also an advisor for the local 4-H club, Creatures N Features. The family is highly involved in 4-H, where they have built lasting friendships and contributed greatly to the local agricultural community. Both girls share a deep love for animals — especially chickens. One of their greatest joys is raising and showing their flock at the Randolph Portage County Fair, a tradition close to their hearts.
In the midst of this unimaginable grief, we are coming together to offer support to this beautiful family as they begin to navigate life without Justin. The emotional toll is immeasurable, and our hope is to lift some of the financial stress so they can focus on healing and being together.
Funds raised will go directly toward helping Maggie and the girls with funeral expenses, household needs, and to provide ongoing support as they navigate the difficult road ahead. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a gesture of love and support that means more than words can express.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping this family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time.
