My name is Tiffany, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin Lashonda and her children during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Lashonda and two of her children were involved in a devastating car accident that resulted in severe and life-altering injuries. Her daughter suffered a broken foot and a laceration to her liver. Her son sustained serious injuries, including broken wrists and a fractured femur. Lashonda herself endured extensive trauma, including broken hips on both sides, broken ribs, and injuries to her left leg.

While the children have been released home and are continuing their recovery, Lashonda remains hospitalized in intensive care. Her road to healing will be long and challenging, requiring time, strength, and extensive support. As a mother, being separated from her children during this time has been especially heartbreaking. Lashonda’s absence has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on the family during an already painful time.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial and emotional burden on Lashonda and her family as they navigate recovery. Funds will go toward essential needs such as in-home assistance, food, household expenses, personal care items, and other day-to-day necessities while she is unable to work and care for her family as she normally would.

Lashonda is a loving and devoted mother who has always put her children first. Right now, she and her family need the support of their community.
