Fundraising for Kyla: Supporting a Father After Tragedy

Dear Friends and Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Amya Faith Withers, the beloved daughter of Reginald McIntyre and Mashauna Withers, and sister to Joshua Withers, Makayla Withers, and Aquliah Goodwin. Amya was also deeply loved by her aunts and uncle Perry Jr, Marsheeka, Tara, and Nicole, and her grandparents Cynthia, Perry, Kathy, and Jackie. She was a vibrant, loving young mother whose life was tragically cut short at just 20 years old by what initially seemed to be a manageable condition. Amya would have celebrated her 21st birthday on February 12, 2025.

Amya leaves behind her beautiful daughter, Kyla, who now faces life without her mother. Like many young parents, Amya did not have a private life insurance policy. Kyla’s father, Aaron, is stepping into the immense responsibility of single parenting while mourning the loss of Amya.

We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community for support during this difficult time.
